Custom cushion work, our shop
Built to your template
If it has a shape, we can cushion it.
Standard cushion sizes only work for standard furniture. Custom Cushions exists for everything else: trapezoid window seats, curved built-ins, boat and RV cushions, custom outdoor seating — any shape, cut and sewn to fit.
Pick your own material, including our Charlotte Fabrics and 29 Park lines, or bring your own fabric. We match foam density and edge profile to how the piece actually gets used.
- Any shape, cut to your exact template
- Any size, from a single seat to a full sectional run
- Any material you select, indoor or outdoor grade
- Foam density and edge profile matched to use

Any shape means any shape
Cut to your exact pattern.
Whatever the piece is, we've probably cushioned something like it: bench seats, chaise lounges, window seats, daybeds, papasan chairs, bolsters and throw pillows, wedge cushions, even pet beds. If it doesn't fit a box shape, that's exactly what this line is for.

Common questions
Cushion FAQ.
Can I supply my own fabric?
Yes — we regularly work with customer's own material (COM). Bring us your fabric and we'll cut and sew to your template, or help you estimate yardage first.
What's the difference between indoor and outdoor cushions?
Outdoor cushions use quick-dry foam and weather-resistant fabric like Sunbrella; indoor cushions use high-density foam suited to daily seating. We match both to how the piece is actually used.
How do I get an accurate quote?
Call, email, or use the quote form with a rough shape, size, and material in mind. For odd shapes, a few photos or a hand-sketched template help us scope it fast.
Do you only do cushions, or upholstery too?
Both — Custom Cushions is one product line inside our full residential reupholstery shop, so frame repair, foam replacement, and full reupholstery are all available in the same visit.
Getting the most out of your cushions
- Brush off loose dirt before it works into the fabric weave.
- Spot clean with mild soap and water; let cushions air dry fully before use.
- For outdoor Sunbrella cushions, hose off regularly and stand covers on edge to dry.
- Rotate and flip cushions periodically to wear evenly.

A project manager who sees it through.

Honest, straight answers

We set realistic dates up front and work hard to hit them, because we know you're planning around them too.
Budgets we stick to
